Hat Trick for Drew Cobean in 9-1 Win
Prestige Contracting headed back to Kincardine for a rare weeknight game Tuesday and were rewarded with a 9-1 win over Kincardine #2. Drew Cobean led the scoring with a hat trick and an assist.
Ryan Girdler got the nod for goaltending and held on to the shutout until the dying seconds of the game. Way to go Ryan.
Ben Schmidt took to the blue line in tonight's game and set up one of Cobean's goals. Thomas Crummer also on the blue line set up Nick Fairminer's goal and defenceman Ty Arnold began the play for Fairminer's 2nd goal of the night in the 3rd period. So don't let anyone tell you that playing defence isn't important!!
Jordan Bester was rewarded with a goal and an assist for his "digging" efforts and Christian Kieffer, Scott Eddyvean, and Connor Johnson all scored a goal. Sam Byers continues to be steady on wing getting the puck out in front of the net.
