Fritz Has a tough weekend
Fritz Construction faced Listowel on Saturday in Walkerton and met with some tough opponents.
After Listowel scored first Denver Turnbull made it even with a nice goal assited by Ryan Goetz and our newest defenceman Jackson Pegalo. This was all Walkerton could muster and Listowel countered twice more. Once in each period to give the boys their first loss of the season 3 -1.
On Sunday the Team travelled to Goderich and played a great game. With a scorless first and a 1-1 second period it was anyones game till a surpising penalty shot call gave Goderich a goal and took the wind out of the boys sails. Goderich added one more to even the season at 2 and 2. Jordan Lang scored the Walkerton marker assited by Jacob Regier and Jaden Dietz.
This weekend the boys face the last 2 teams in our loop and will be sure to give them more than they can handle.
