Huge Win for Easthill Novice LL
The Easthill Novice LL team broke a three game losing streak when they faced off against the Wallace Sabres.
From the opening face off it was obvious that the boys were here to give it their all in an effort to bring home a "W". Around the eight minute mark of the first, Tristan Zettel opened up the scoring with his first of the game, an unassisted goal. Four minutes later Willy Schmidt picked up a loose puck in the crease and fired it in for his first goal of the season!
At the six minute mark of the second period the Sabres scored on a breakaway to keep the score close. The boys would have none of this and came back with a vengeance. Tristan Zettel scored two more goals that were about a minute apart, for the hat trick. At the end of this period Jayden Louther broke free on goal making no mistake in firing the puck to the back of the net.
The third period showed no scoring due to the hard efforts of defenceman Colton Dietrich, Michael Fortney, Coleman Meyer and Ben Schmidt. Chase Hauck made many saves ending this game in a 5-1 victory.
