Easthill Home Opener Ends in Win!
The Easthill Autohaus Novice LL took on the Mount Forest Rams in their first home game of the season. Thirty four seconds into the first period Tristan Z. netted his first of the game, winning a hard fought scrimmage against the opposing defense.
Coleman M. scored his first of the season on an end to end, unassisted rush beating the goalie on the low, short side. It wasn't long before Tristan Z. scored his second of the game bouncing one of the post and in. Next was the first goal of the season for Jayden L., he received the pass at the blue line and skillfully deked out the opposing goalie. Mount Forest fought back hard netting their only goal of the game. With only three seconds remaining in the first, Tristan Z. intercepted a neutral zone pass and broke free scoring his first career hat-trick.
Scoring the only goal in a quiet second period was Scott E. with his second of the season on a hard fought individual effort.
The silence of the third period was broken in the last minute, with a shot from just inside the blue line by Jayden L., scoring his second of the game. Then with only three seconds left (deja vu?) Tristan Z. scores again netting his fourth of the game! The steady defense of Michael M., Ben S., Colton D., Andrew Y. and solid goal tending by Chase H. made this one 8-1.
