And the Weber's Round Robin goes bob, bob, bobbin along!!

The 8th and final game in the Peewee boys, round robin was held March 15 in Durham. The Walkerton boys were smokin' during this game. The proof was in the 2 fire alarms they set off, evacuating the building.
Durham began this game, with fierce determination, to secure the victory. But unfortunately for them, it was not to be.
They did, however, dominate the first period and had a 2-0 lead when the buzzer sounded. Webers calmly awaited their chance and sniped their first goal early in #2 , when Max Barclay netted one, unassisted. Webers kept pushing the offensive with amazing team play, and their usual grit, allowing Max to sneak in the second goal for Walkerton, tieing the game. 16 seconds later, with the defensive lines firmly protecting their end, Josh Konecny set up the puck for Max to polish off. Early in the 3rd, Durham managed to squeak one through to even the score. Due to the fact that Webers are never fazed by a challenge, the boys raised the bar and with only 2 minutes left in the game, Chase Louther scored the go ahead goal, assisted by Ty Petteplace.
With Walkerton taking the lead, and the excitement escalating, Jesse Lamont dug in his heels and guarded his net ferociously to clinch the win. Three cheers to the defensive lines of Matt Engel, Aaron Hill, Caleb Diebold and Steve Perdue. Webers will advance to the next series against Teeswater.
Stay tuned and Happy St. Patricks Day!!
