Walkerton vs. Hanover Win 5 - 2
Hanover was next to feel the wrath of this newly gelled team who refuse to lose. Like their first meeting, judging by the game sheet, this too was a physical game with a lot of penalties on both sides. Isaac Elliot led the way opening the scoring mid way through the first period on an assist from Bailey Zettler. However with just under a minute to play in the 1st Hanover tied it up. Then just 18 seconds later they netted another one to take the lead into the second. The old McIntee Atoms may have threw in the towel as a number of teams would under the same circumstances, however the new team who refuse to lose would not give up this easily. Mid way through the 2nd Matt Lang netted a goal to tie it up. Drawing assists were Tyler Goetz and Bailey Zettler. A few minutes later Justin Donnelly broke the game wide open when he netted one as well also assisted by Bailey Zettler to take a 3-2 lead into the 3rd. Walkerton then would score two more in this period to seal the victory. Scoring first was Matt Lang with an assist from Lucas Bester. Getting the last goal of the game was Lucas Bester with the assist going to Tyson MacLennan. Brandon Dales and Luke Zettel played well on Defense while Curtis Biesenthal had a strong game on forward.
