Goderich @ Walkerton Loss 5 - 3
This game was a rematch of the two teams who faced each other in round one of the playoffs. Unfortunately for the McIntee Atoms the result was the same. All of our previous meetings with Goderich were all close games. Our Capitals were first to the scoreboard with Tyson MacLennan getting the goal with an assist from Luke Zettel and Justin Donnelly. With just over a minute left in the period Goderich tied it up. However Matt Lang just 7 seconds later answered right back with a goal assisted by Kyle Vaughan and Tyler Goetz. The second period was all Goderich with them scoring two goals to take the lead back into the third. In the 3rd Matt Lang tied it up again this time drawing assists from Justin Donnelly and Jackson Stark. However Goderich were able to score 2 more to take the victory. Playing well again was Ryan Bester with help from Lucas Bester, Curtis Biesenthal and Bailey Zettler.
