Walkerton Novice Rep Boys playoff series vs Blyth-Brussels;

After beating the Blyth-Brussels Crusaders 7-1 in the series opener, the Walkerton Capitals Novice Rep team lost 5-3 on home-ice on Feb. 21.
The series is now tied 1-1.
In game 1, on Feb. 16, Nolan Fitzsimmons lead the way with four goals.
Nathan Romphf, Keenan Cartwright and Carson Baglole also picked up goals while Neil Heaney had two assists and Landen Adams, Travis Goll each had one assist.
In game 2, the Capitals found themselves down 4-0 heading into the third period. In an attempt to make a comeback and wrap the series up, Nolan Fitzsimmons, Landon Adams and Keenan Cartwright scored third-period goals, while Neil Heaney, Carson Baglole and Keaton Neilly got assists. While the third-period push made it a close game, it proved not enough.
Caps goalie, Talan Hope played both games between the pipes and was applauded by parents and coaching staff for his excellent play.
The next game is set for this Saturday, Feb. 27 in Brussels at 11:00 a.m.
