Atom Girls Rep, 2013-2014 (Walkerton Minor Hockey Association)

The Atom Girls C team played 3 games in 4 days and came away with 2 wins to improve their record to 7-6-1. Overall the team played very well over the 3 game stretch. The team travelled to Tiverton on December 13th to play the Kincardine Kinucks and came away with a frustrating 2-0 loss. The team played very well dominating the play for most of the game and had numerous scoring opportunities and 2 disallowed goals. Credit must be given to the Kincardine goalie who made numerous saves and earned the win for her team.

The Atom C girls are well into their season and have really started to work well together. They have posted a 5-5-1 record including a strong showing in the Stratford Aces tournament with 2 wins and 2 losses against quality competition and are coming off a solid 2 win weekend against the Bruce Peninsula Northstars and Saugeen Shores Storm.
