RKS Electric Peewee Boys Defeat Hanover
On Saturday, January 5th, the RKS Electric Peewee boys took on the Hanover Falcons in Hanover. Well rested after Christmas break RKS came on strong with Jacob Weiler scoring the first goal of the game, assisted by Jacob Regier, early in the first period. Ethan Schmidt scored the next goal, unassisted, but Hanover managed to tie it up before the end of the period.
RKS came back in the second period scoring four more goals to secure the lead. First Jacob Weiler scored assisted by Kristopher Taylor. Next was a goal from Landon Moore assisted by Steven Ottewell. Then Keaton Holm scored assisted by Landon Moore and Mason Stroeder. Then Landon Moore scored again assisted by Keaton Holm. Hanover did manage to get two goals in to end the second 6-4.
Towards the end of the third period Ethan Schmidt scored again assisted by Keaton Holm and Landon Moore. Then Mason Stroeder got one from just inside the blue line assisted by Jacob Regier and Ty Arnold. A great game was played by A/P’d goaltender Chapman Holm in his first PeeWee game. Hanover managed to squeeze one in during the final few minutes of the game making the final score 8-5 for RKS.
