Bantam Girls Rep, 2012-2013 (Walkerton Minor Hockey Association)

On Sunday Feb 10, the girls started playoffs for the Provinicals in Ottawa this Year. Their first round was against West Grey/Durham. The first game was Walkerton traveling over to Durham. The games was very aggrestive plays with fast-paced, in the boards digging. Cassidy Becker had some great games with many shots on her. All the girls should be proud of themselves about how they played. Even Durham was saying how this was a very instense series and a good last run for them. They were proud to be put out after the way it went.

On Friday Feb 8, the Walkerton girls were to ready to go down to Flambrough for the first game of their playoffs. But unfournatley the weather decided that they were not allowed to play the game, so they had to wait.

So on Saturday Janurary 26, the girls had the Kitchener Lady Rangers come to Walkerton for the final game in the regular season. By the end of the second period the score was sitting at 2-2. But during the thrid period the Lady Rangers managed to flip the puck up and over Cassidy's shoulder, giving themselves the lead. The girls were not able to find one more goal in time. The goals were awarded to: Nicole (unassisted) and Jasmine (assisted by Victoria). The girls are now waiting to hear about playoffs. The girls in the end of the season are sitting with 12 wins, 8 loses and 2 ties in 22 ...

On Sunday, January 20 the girls were to head to Clifford to meet up with Mount Forest, but due to the weather the girls had to be held off on the game.

On Saturday January 12, 2013, the Walkerton Bantam Rep Girls went up against Flambrough on the home ice. The girls had a great game coming up with an amazing score of 7 – 0. The goals were credited to:
