RKS Bantam Girls Continue Winning Streak

On Sat. November 5th the Walkerton RKS Bantam Girls travelled to Ayton to play the Normanby Wildcats.
After getting behind by one in the first, defenceman Michelle Bester took the puck end to end and tied the game three minutes into the second period. Allie Smillie was credited with the assist. Normanby came back with another and the score was 2-1 at the end of the second.
The Walkerton team came out strong in the third, and Emily Cormack went around the Normanby girls and slipped one through the five hole to even the score at two apiece. With eighteen seconds to go Bester scored her second goal of the game and sealed the win.
The girls play their next game in Mildmay on the 9th.
