Lang's Continues Winning Streak
The Langs Midget ladies local league team continued
their winning ways this past week.
On November 2, the team travelled to Kincardine. Reshay Sullivan and Bri Dietz shared the goaltending duties for this game. They were kept busy but did an awesome job keeping the puck out of the net. The game remained scoreless until the third period when Hayley Thede got a breakaway and put Walkerton ahead. A few minutes later, Thede sealed the win with another goal. She was assisted by Ashlee Cameron. Walkerton were the winners by a score of 2-0.
The team went to Ayton on November 6 for their first game against Normanby. Langs kept a lot of pressure on the Normanby goalie throughout the game. Katrina Hodgins scored twice for Walkerton, with assists going to Carly Morris (2) and Marisa Dales (2). Bri Dietz was solid in net once again and earned the shutout in the 2-0 victory for Walkerton.
