RKS Bantam Girls Win Cambridge Tournament
RKS Bantams Girls bring home the Gold...
The RKS Bantam girls travelled to the Cambridge Roadrunners Tournament on the week-end and came out on top after winning the gold having played 5 games.
The semi final game pitted the girls against arch rival Kincardine which proved to be probably the game of the tournament, as the girls came away victorious in a hard fought 4-2 win.
With gold on their mind, there was no stopping the girls as we met the Aurora Panthers in the final. Playing with superb goaltending and defence the girls skated to a 1-0 victory and tournament champions!!!
The girls should be proud of the fact that they played as a team and and only gave up 6 goals in 5 games, against some pretty good competition.
