Lang's Tie
Lang's Midget Girls come up even in Reeves Cup match.
Despite only having played one game in all of December, Lang's kept up to the competitors pace and managed to come away with a one-one tie against Mount Forest. The game remained scoreless until early in the third when Lang's Sabrina Clark managed to tip a rebound in, assisted by Erin Neil. Mount Forest answered back four minutes later for the tie. Solid in goal for Lang's was call-up Ryan Bester. The game was preceded by the skill competition that saw Lesa Kittel win the hardest shot and Allison Elphick win fastest skater. Kittel also earned MVP of the game. The Lang's travel to Cambridge this weekend January 9-11, as defending champions of the tournament. They play two games on Friday, one Saturday evening, finals to take place Sunday afternoon.
