Langs Tie
Lang's Midget girls faced off against Howick/Wallace Tuesday November 18 and skated away with a 3-3 tie.
Howick started off the scoring near the end of the first period, and found the net again two minutes later. Lang's Katie Pegelo put the girls back into the game with a high corner shot, Kyla Johnson and Alison Elphick assisting. Howick kept the lead throughout the second. Early in the third period Bridget King tipped in a pass from behind the net by Jill Pitt, who was assisted by Sabrina Clark. Lang's grabbed the lead four minutes later with a hard shot from in front by Lesa Kittel with assistance from Christina Kaufman. Howick got away with a short handed goal with six minutes to go. Lang's couldn't pull ahead again for the win ending the game with a 3-3 tie. Reshay Sullivan playing up for Lang's, was solid in the net throughout..
