On Sunday Jan 4th the CMR boys played Lions Head in a fast paced hockey game. End to end action had the fans on the edges of their seats. With the game tied at 4 goals apiece with six minutes left in the game, the CMR boys put out their best effort. Their hard work payed off as they put the puck in the offensive net two more times to seal the win.
CMR BANTAMS CONTINUE WINNING STREAK
Matt Engel ended the game with a hat trick under his belt, putting three goals on the board for Walkerton and chalking up one assist. Adding to the CMR scoring were Adam Lindblad unassisted, Cam Wagner, and Jacob Murphy. Asssists going to Braden O'Hagan, Scott Markauskas, Callum Schaus, John Ringel, Murphy, and Lindblad. Strong offence and defence playing by everyone contributed to the win.
Steven Lang made some crucial saves helping his team with the well deserved victory.
