Walkerton @ Mount Forest Reeves Cup Win 3 - 1
Today our McIntee Atoms travelled to Mount Forest to participate in the Reeves Cup. After a few losses it was nice to put a win under our belts. From what I have heard all the boys played well and it was a very exciting game to watch. After a scoreless first period our Capitals opened the scoring first on an unassisted goal by Tyler Goetz. This held up as the boys took a 1 – 0 lead into the third. In the 3rd Tyler struck again with assists going to Matt Lang and Curtis Biesenthal. With just under 7 minutes to play Mount Forest ended the shut out bid for our Goalie Ryan Bester. However the boys answered right back on an unassisted goal by Matt Lang to claim victory.
