PeeWee Rep Boys Host Goderich
Walkerton Legion PeeWee Rep team recently completed a home game with Goderich on Wednesday night.  It was a great game from the first face off.  The score ended in another draw, this time 2-2.

The first period was back and forth with end to end action but resulted in no goals.

The first goal of the game was scored in the second period by Cam Wagner on a beautiful backhander top corner assisted by Josh Busby.  Shortly after, Goderich tied it up with a nice passing play.  The second period ended with a 1-1 score.  In the third period, Cory Paulitzki broke free for a break away and he capitalized on the opportunity with a nice top shelf goal unassisted.  The game was winding down with the Walkerton boys in the lead when, with 1:34, left Goderich scored to tie it up.  With 30 seconds remaining on the clock and the face off just inside Walkerton’s blueline, Goderich pulled their goalie to try for the win.  The Legion boys tried to score on the open Goderich net but did not succeed and held Goderich off until the final buzzer resulting in a 2-2 tie. The whole team played extremely well defensively in this game. Wes Cameron made some awesome saves to keep the game close. The Legion PeeWee’s are back in action next Tuesday when they travel to Mitchell.  Check back for more action in the coming weeks.  The Legion PeeWee’s are hosting a Legion PeeWee Tournament on November 24th.   Come out and support these rising stars.
