Legion Peewee beats BCH 4-2
As the Walkerton Peewee Rep boys gear up for playoffs, they took on BCH on Jan 2, 2008.Their great persistence and skill paid off with a victory of 4-2. The boys started by quickly scoring a beautiful goal in the 1st shift of the game with Cole Alexander finding the net on a perfect pass from Josh Busby and Patrick Walsh.
Shortly after the boys got on the board with another goal to make the score 2-1 for Walkerton at the end of the first period. BCH came out strong in the 2nd period scoring a quick goal to tie up the game. But that did not dampen Walkerton's play as they quickly regained the lead with a second goal by John Ringel on a sweet pass from Adam and Paul Lindblad. With great endurance Walkerton managed a break away play that resulted in a penalty shot. Cole Alexander was the shooter, he made a beautiful deke past the BCH goalie, scoring his 2nd goal of the game and Walkerton's final goal of the game to make it 4-2 victory for the boys. The next game for the Peewee will in Listowel on January 5, 2008
