Wilken stones Mildmay
The Joy's boys solidified second place overall in the WOAA with a narrow 2-1 win over rival Mildmay. Mildmay buzzed the net all night but Steve Wilken was equal to the task with many spectacular saves. Steve is featured this week in the Herald Times as athlete of the week as the backbone of this team. Scoring tonight was all done by the new line of Barclay, Inglis & Elliott with Jake Barclay and Kurt Inglis notting the twine. Inglis suffered a wrist injury late in the game hustling to the corner on the forecheck and is doubtful for Tuesday's night game in Mt. Forest.
