JOYS End on a High in Hanover
With 3 guys out with the flu and one with injury a very challenged Joys battled hard against Lucan. Trailing 3-1 with 5 minutes to go the boys staged another remarkable comeback to tie the game 3-3 and send it to a shootout. Steve Wilken stoned all 3 Lucan shooters (they tried to deak, oh my how saddddd !!) and came up empty each shot. Scoring for Walkerton in the shootout were Ben Carroll and Andrew Walsh. Ben was player of the game but Steve Wilken was outstanding also. Kurtis Inglis and Ben Carroll both had 3 pts with Logan Kritz also getting a goal.
