Huronia Tournament
Thank you everyone for participating in the Annual Huronia Tournament, we have a full tournament this year all divisions have eight teams. To make the tournaments success, The town of Collingwood and the town of Thornbury have requested that we follow very strict guidelines when it comes to the locker changes. These guidelines are set out by the Health Units in both Simcoe/Muskoka and Gery/Bruce. This will be a little different than normal as it will require half a team gets changed in one change room and half team is changed and another change room. For coaches having all your teammates together in one room just before going on the ice will not be feasible.
When you arrive at the rink you will be assigned a change room volunteer, this person will help guide the team through the process so that everyone is compliant with the current rules. Teams will arrive 1/2 hour before your scheduled game time. Warm up will need to be done outside the arena, we suggest at the hotel, or arrive 45 minutes before and warm up before entering the arena. A manager or assistant coach may arrive earlier to help coordinate the team’s dressing rooms. We will be asking all spectators to arrive 10 minutes before game and leave right after.
First game of the tournament player and coach check in. Your Volunteer will have the check in list with them, so each player and coach can sign in.
