I Hope you all had a great hockey
season. I am really looking forward to
this upcoming season with the Peewee Lower Lakes team.
This letter is to explain he tryout process for the Peewee Lower Lakes team and provide answers to questions, especially for those parents who have not been through this process before.
Tryouts are the best way for coaches and independent evaluators to evaluate the appropriate level of competition for each individual player. Our ultimate goal is to place every player at the level she will be most successful competing at for both skill building and confidence building purposes.
We are looking for players that demonstrate skill, determination, aggressiveness and possess a good attitude.
There will be 4 tryouts with the difficulty progressing with each one. Tryout 1 through 3 will be a practice type format and Tryout 4 will be an exhibition game. There will be cuts made after tryout 2, so parents please take the time to talk to your child so they understand the process.
After all Tryouts I will post the players names who should attend the next tryout on the WMH Peewee Lower Lakes webpage.
Please hand in your jersey at the end of each tryout.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank You
