OFF to OMHA semi-finals
Well it has been an exciting 6 weeks for the Bantam Rep Joy’s Source for Sports Team.

The first round of OMHA playoffs took the boys to Mount Forest that finished in three straight wins in our favor.  Lots of goals and three shut outs swept the boys through their first round of OMHA playoffs with some high scoring games of 10-0, 12-0 and 10-0. It was a great start to playoffs. Second round of playoffs took the Bantams to BCH for some close and exciting games.  Our first game we travelled to Clinton for a very exciting game of back and forth action. Fortunately for us the Bantam boys pulled ahead to take the 1st game of the series with a 3-2 win. A little too close for us parents but a nice win to get under their belts. Game two we were back on home ice and BCH came to win. Heading into the 3rd period our boys were down but they came back in the third and came out scoring to finish the game with a 6-3 victory. Hoping to seal this series in three straight the boys got to play game three with home ice advantage. With lots of opportunity to score for both teams and amazing goal tending for both goalies the game finished scoreless in overtime.  A trip back to Hensall for game four, our Bantams came out a little slow in the first period and second periods. Finally a goal sparked the boys to finish the series with a 4-1 win and put BCH out of the running for All Ontario quarter finals.
Quarter final action took us to our next door neighbours for some good ol’ Hanover rivalry. The first two games our boys dominated the series with two wins, 4-0 and 6-0. Hoping to sweep the Hanover series in the third game, Hanover showed up to play and not go out without a fight. Lots of back and forth action made for an interesting and very close game but our Bantams came out with the win of 2-1 to sweep this series three straight.   Currently we are waiting to start OMHA semi – finals. Tavistock or Ilderton will be our opponents and should prove to be a good series.
Come cheer our Bantams as they work towards their ultimate prize.   WOAA playoffs have given the Bantams some excellent competition. Lots of great shots and excellent goal tending have given the boys 4 wins and 1 loss in the WOAA playoffs. Three more games this weekend will keep the boys going to finish the WOAA series.   Congratulations to our Bantam Reps for some exciting hockey and for coming together as a team. We wish them good luck as they head into the OMHA semi – finals.
