West Grey Minor Hockey Consolation Champions
Walkerton LL#2 had a successful day at the West Grey Tournament.
Defending Tournament Champions the team opened with a tough 4-2 loss to TNT and had another tough loss as goaltender Matt was unable to finish the game and tournament between the pipes. Jordan Lang slapped on the pads and stood in for a convincing 6-1 win against the Kincardine Kinucks. The momentum carried on to the Championship game where Lang became the tournament favorite. Named the game MVP Lang supported the team with a 6-5 overtime victory. Congratulations Capitals!
