Jan 21st Game #1 @ Goderich Loss 3 - 2
OMHA Playoffs are here at last, and Goderich is first on the list. Although being able to handle our boys during the regular season without too much trouble the new and improved Bantam Rep Boys were going to see to it that this was going to be a walk in the park for them.
Game #1 had us travel to Goderich, the opening period was scoreless until with just 28 seconds to play Goderich netted their first of the night. The penalty bug was definitely biting hard that night as Goderich went up by 2 at the 6 minute mark while on the PP. With 29 seconds to go in the period we got one back as Tyson MacLennan netted one on an assist from Bailey Zettler. The 3rd period brought back the penalty problems again as Goderich went up by 2 again at the 13 minute mark while on the PP again. at the 11:38 mark we drew within one on a nice goal by Tyler Goetz with an assist from Ryan Young. However thats as close as we could get as even with the goalie pulled we couldn't tie it up, and Goderich took game #1.
