Capitals End 2010 With a Win!!
December 30th, Leslie Motors ended 2010 with a win over Hanover.
Hanover started the game strong by scoring the first goal of the game, a few seconds later Walkerton tied it with a goal by Fotheringham and assisted by Turnbull & Keip. Hanover added another goal in the first period to take the lead heading into the second.
Second period belonged to the Capitals, 5 more goals were scored. Goals were credited to Keip(1), Turnbull (1), Fotheringham (2) and Wells (1). This gave Fotheringham a hat trick and Wells his first goal of the season. Assists went to Reaman (3), Turnbull (1) Zettler (1), Shaidle (1), Keip (3) and Wells (1). Hanover scored another to end the period with Walkerton up by 3.
Keip scored another in the third, assisted by Wells and Fortheringham to end the game with a final score of 7-3.
