Leo Al Girls Tie, Win
The Leo Al girls peewee team continued their solid team play in a game against Normanby on Sat. Feb. 21.
Marissa Lair and Natalie Hawkins were strong on the point for the girls as they earned a 1-1 tie. Emily Cormack scored the tieing goal with 30 seconds left in the game.
On Feb. 22, the peewee team hosted Tiverton winning 5 -2. Excellent effort and determination contributed to this win. Goal scorers were Hayley Thede (2), Emily Cormack, Carolyn Gray, and Monica Fritz. Assists went to Carly Morris (3), Kerrigan Huber(2), Gray and Cormack. Madison Elliot made some timely saves to preserve the victory.
