Paisley Tournament Game #3 vs. Ripley
Lets just say we didn't quite win this one.
Game #3 was against a very strong Ripley team. First off I would like to congratulate Ripley on having a great team. They played very well and stayed in their positions better than quite a few older teams I have seen play in my day. That being said our one and only goal was scored by Jayce Busby with the assists going to Paige Clark and Courtney Fritz. More importantly even though the score was one sided there was no poor sportsmanship, there was no stick banging or sad faces anywhere to be seen. The same smiling faces were still present that were there at the first drop of the puck, they looked a little bit tired but were still there. As always when the games ended the traditional shaking of hands happens at center ice, then the race back to the dressing room to get changed and over to the concession booth for a treat. Making a stand and working hard to the end of this game was Matthew Donnelly, Jacob Weiler, Jena Fotheringham, Nat Illerbrunn, Keegan Quish and Stephanie Young.
