Season Update
Submitted By Adam Batte on Thursday, November 5, 2020
We have been in the process of transitioning to “bubble play”  over the past couple of weeks.

Our OWHA program successfully accomplished this last week and the OMHA program is scheduled to transition over the next week.  With this we will be Joining other local centers to form these “bubbles.”

All of our return to play has been provided to both the WOAA and Public Health Unit for approvals prior to commencing.

A roster change for the OMHA will be coming to all divisions for Novice up in the next coming days.  This roster change would have been necessary regardless of bubble play or not due to OMHA requiring rosters due by Nov 15.  We will be tiering each age group and working with the coaches to make this as seamless as possible.  We understand that this has been an ever changing season and appreciate all the patience.

Many may have noticed we have no horse palace Ice this year and that is due to the overall cost to install and the unknown of how long we will be on the ice.  This year we will have ice times starting in Mildmay as early as tonight so please check your calendars for location.  Attendance needs to be completed the same as our arena in town and we have provided a binder to be kept at the Mildmay arena.  Please remember to sign in at each ice time.  Coaches will be asking to have someone there to maintain the attendance book and this is a great way for volunteer hours.

We will continue to work hard to provide a safe and fun season for the kids. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you
WMH
