2nd playoff game a success.
Sunday Feb. 17th, Weber's Electric hosted Durham for the second game of their playoff round robin. Durham began the scoring early in the game and this was the only goal on the board for the remainder of the first period.
Walkerton came out battling in the second period when Max Barclay netted a goal with the assist going to Curtis Davidson.
Durham answered back less than 40 seconds later to take the lead 2-1. With two minutes left in the second, Matt Engel set one up for Max to send on home. Holding off for another 30 seconds, Caleb Diebold waited for his chance to net the go ahead goal, assisted by Ty Petteplace.
The third period was an uphill climb with both teams working hard. Durham managed to sneak a tieing goal in with 5 minutes left. Determined to defend their home ice, Walkerton scored with only a minute left on the clock. Points going to Max, Aaron Hill and Caleb. Then it was up to our sturdy defense to keep our end clear and they did not disappoint, thus ending the game 4-3 for Walkerton.
