Game 15 vs. Hanover Falcons
The Walkerton Capitals would travel to Hanover on Sunday, January 19, 2020 to play the Falcons.  The game a day later than originally scheduled was a make up game after the Saturday game was rescheduled because of snow.

In the first period it would be Hanover that would open the scoring in the first minute of the game.  The game would then settle in for a back and forth tilt with several scoring chances for both teams.  Walkerton would tie the game with just over 2 minutes remaining when Cayleb Peitz outlasted the Hanover netminder and slide the puck into an open corner, Xander Thornton would be credited with the assist.  At the end of the first period the game would be tied at 1-1.

The second period would see Hanover again come out quickly and score twice before Walkerton would respond and pull within a goal after Cayleb Peitz split the defence and fired a wrist shot over the hand of the Hanover goalie.  The Falcons would respond with two more goals.  The Capitals would score with just under a minute remaining on the clock when Joshua Flood came down the wing and would lift a backhand shot into the top corner of the net.  Hanover would hold a 5-3 lead after two periods.

In the third period the Falcons would continue to pressure and would score two more goals and win the game with a final score of 7-3. The game would be closer than the final score would dictate.  Walkerton would play tough along the boards but Hanover in the end would make the most of its chances especially in close.
