Game 9 vs. Bruce Peninsula Northstars
The home stand continued on November 24, 2019 when the Bruce Peninsula Northstars came to visit.  The game would feature some outstanding action from both teams right up until the final buzzer.

The Capitals would come out quickly in the first period, and would be rewarded early.  Walkerton's Austin Cormack would open the scoring just over 2 minutes into the game when he slid the puck passed the Bruce Peninsula net-minder, assisted by Jack Walter and Joshua Flood.  Less than a minute later Austin would score again for his second goal of the game when a high wrist shot found the back of the net this time unassisted.  The scoring would continue when a scramble at the side of the net found Jack Walter jump on a loose puck and lifted it into the top of the net from in tight with 4:37 remaining in the period, assisting on the play was Colby Schmidt.  Walkerton would lead 3-0 after the first period.

The second period and both teams would settle in for more of a defensive battle with end to end rushes at opportune times.  The Northstars would pressure throughout the period but Ryan Hinsperger would be equal to the task and keep rebounds to a minimum.  Some great passing resulted in Cayleb Peitz scoring from the slot area assisted by Landon Young and Joshua Flood while on the power play.  Walkerton held a 4-0 lead after two period completed.

Early in the third period the Northstars would score twice to cut the Walkerton lead in half.  The two teams would continue to battle back and forth but it would be in the final seconds when Jack Walter would skate out from behind the Bruce Peninsula net and fire a low shot that would catch the far corner of the net.  Walkerton would skate away with a 5-2 victory.

Another strong team win, solid goaltending, strong defense and a forward crew that were moving the puck with speed and precise passing.
