Game 7 vs Owen Sound Jr. Attack
The second game of the weekend series would see the Walkerton Capitals host the visiting Owen Sound Jr. Attack on Sunday, November 10th, 2019.  The game would be played in the Walkerton arena.

The first period would see the Capitals come out quickly and test the Attack goalie early and often.  Walkerton would open the scoring 3:22 into the period when Austin Cormack found the back of the net after taking a centring pass from Colby Schmidt.  Walkerton would add to its lead with 3:00 minutes remaining when Joshua Flood took a pass from Austin Cormack and slid the puck behind the Attack net-minder.  Walkerton would lead 2-0 after the first period.

The Capitals would continue to pressure as the second period got underway and would be rewarded when an Owen Sound clearing attempt would bounce around until Connor Farrell unleashed a one timer that found the back of the net just over 2:00 minutes into the period.  The scoring would continue several minutes later when Cayleb Peitz would go five hole on the goalie, assists were awarded to Landon Young and Joshua Flood.  Walkerton would hold a 4-0 lead after two periods of play.

The third period and again Walkerton would pressures from the opening face off.  Cayleb Peitz would score his second of the game just before the two minute mark of the period.  Assisted by Tyler Wallace and Landon Young.  The Attack would press late in the period but Ryan Hinsperger would stand tall between the pipes to record his first shut out of the season.

The Capitals did a lot of things right in this game.  They moved the puck with accurate passing and the players uses their speed in both forechecking and back checking.  The defence was strong in holding the puck in the offensive zone and did well to block several Owen Sound attempts throughout the game.  The Walkerton Capitals would win the game 5-0 and take three of a possible four points during the home and home series.
