Game 6 vs. Owen Sound Jr. Attack
The Walkerton Capitals would play a home and home weekend series vs. the Owen Sound Jr. Attack.  The first game would see the Capitals travel north to Owen Sound for a Saturday evening match on November 9, 2019.

The Capitals would open the scoring just over a minute into the game when a Tyler Wallace wrist shot from the blue line found the back of the net, assisting on the goal was Cayleb Peitz.  Owen Sound would tie the score one and a half minutes later after a goal mouth scramble found the lose puck heading into the Walkerton net.  The Attack would continue to press and would score just under a minute later and take a 2-1 lead into the second period.

The second period would see the Capitals continue to press the Owen Sound net.  The Capitals would score four and a half minutes into the period when Austin Cormack took a centring feed from Landon Young and fired a wrist shot stick side.  The two teams would battle as the period continued forward, but neither would be able to extend the lead and the period would end with the teams noted in a 2-2 tie.

During the third period the Attack would score with nine minutes and thirty seconds remaining but would then find themselves running into some penalty issues.  Walkerton would pressure the Owen Sound net and would come close but would be held to shooting from bad angles.  Walkerton would score, however, when Cayleb Peitz would score on the power play after going in on a break away with 3:15 remaining.  The game would end in a 3-3 tie at the sound of the final buzzer.

Game 1 would end in a hard fought tie with both teams skating away with a single point.  The Capitals while playing hard throughout the game found themselves shooting from bad angles and not being able to get to rebounds in front of the net.  The passing game was not as sharp as it has been so there would be things to work on and improve for tomorrow afternoons game.
