Capitals lose 3 close games
The Walkerton-Hanover Vet Clinic bantam LL boys have lost three close games in a row. 

The Capitals fell 4-3 in Hanover on Nov. 3 in Hanover, with Brayden Grife, Kyle Rompf and Dylan Reay all scoring for Walkerton. Assists were recorded by Luke Schmidt (2), Cobi Johnson and Scott McTeer.

It was another tight match Nov. 10 in Southampton, when the visitors lost 5-4 to the Saugeen Shores Storm #1. Walkerton was trailing 5-2 heading into the third, and scored two unanswered goals, but the Capitals fell short of the tie. Tyler Wallace, Rompf, Schmidt and Grife scored for Walkerton, with assists by Jacob Girdler, Tayt Weber, Johnson, Rompf, Schmidt and Reay.

In action Nov. 11 at home against the Shallow Lake Lakers, the boys suffered a 3-1 loss. Ryan Graul scored the lone goal for Walkerton, assisted by McTeer.

The Capitals are on the ice again Tuesday, Nov. 13 with an 8 p.m. home against the Owen Sound Junior Attack #1.
