Game 18 vs. West Grey Warriors
The Walkerton Capitals would travel to Durham on January 27th, 2019 to play the West Grey Warriors.  The second game in as many days the Capitals were hoping for a win after a tough loss the day before.

The Warriors would open the scoring halfway through the first period.  Walkerton would respond with just over 2 ½ minutes remaining when Cody McIntyre beat the Warriors net-minder stick side, assisting on the goal was Logan Bradley.  The game would be tied 1-1 at the conclusion of the first period.

The second period and the Capitals would increase its lead when Kyle Graul would fire a hard wrist shot that would find the top corner of the net after taking a pass from Owen Young.  The Walkerton defence was very strong in front of its own net blocking several attempts made by the Warriors forwards.  Any shot that did make it through were covered up by the Walkerton goalies.  The Capitals would lead 2-1 after two periods of play.

The third period would again see the Capitals control much of the play in the Warriors end.  Colby Schmidt would score after a goalmouth scramble, Shawn Lacey would be credited with the assist.  Walkerton would hold on to take the victory after playing both a solid defensive and offensive game.
