What a ride this has been!
The Joys Source for Sports Bantam CC boys are the All Ontario Champions!
After 4 very close and tense games, The Bantam boys rapped up the series on home ice over the weekend.
Game 1 and 2 the team travelled to Frontenac.
The boys came out on fire for game 1 and resulted in a 4-1 win for Walkerton.
It was great to get the first win in.
Game 2 was an entirely different game for the boys. It was Frontenac's turn to turn it on. They came out fast and hard hitting and the result was a 3-1 win for Frontenac.
Game 3 and 4 brought Frontenac back to town for home ice advantage.
Both teams were pretty well matched and it was good hockey to watch.
Saturday the boys pulled off a 2-1 win.
We needed one more to capture the title.
The boys came to play for game 4 for both teams. Frontenac scored 1st to take the lead. Our boys came back with two goals. Frontenac played hard but it was our Bantams that took the game with another 2-1 win.
