The Midget Women's Walkerton Capitals are ready for the 2017 Kitchener Fallfest Tournament this weekend after a 1-1 draw with the Lucknow Sepoy's on Saturday.
In the 2nd game against Lucknow this season, the girls, despite a short bench set the pace and played strong against the undefeated Sepoy's.
Many pucks went to the net but only one would cross the line and the final was a 1-1 draw.
"The Team continues to improve", coach Troy stated. "They just need to keep playing and good things will happen".
The women are in Kitchener this weekend in their second tournament of the year. Friday has them at the Aud at 130pm against the Ilderton Jets and Friday evening at the Activia Sportsplex vs the Sarnia JR. Sting at 6pm. 2 more games Saturday at 915am vs The Lambton Attack again at the Sportsplex then returning to the Aud for their last round robin game against the Southpoint Stars at 615pm.
