The second period started out at a slower pace but Walkerton continued to pressure.  The pressure would pay off when Travis Goll scored with just over 5 minutes remaining after taking a pass from Owen Young.  Just over a minute later Carson Baglole would score unassisted after making a rush from his own blue line.  Walkerton lead 6-1 after 20 minutes of play.

The third period and Walkerton would add to its lead when Wes Hunt scored on a wrist shot assisting were Seth Young and Dominic Valeriote.  Carson Baglole would score with just over 5 minutes remaining.  Logan Bradley would then score after taking a pass from Wes Hunt and Matthew McNaughton.  The scoring would wrap up with just under 2 minutes remaining when another end to end rush gave Carson Baglole a hat trick on the day.

The Capitals played their second game of the weekend and came away with a convincing win over Minto.  The boys were once again playing well as a team, the passing was great and crashing the net after rebounds and loose pucks fantastic.  Walkerton was able to limit the amount of shots fired on its net by solid back-checking and good puck control in its own end.
