Welcome everyone to another season of hockey. I am excited to get to know you and your players and working to develop a dynamic group to represent our center in competitions. Today I have just a few reminders about critical items as we start the season. The Walkerton Minor Hockey website is the place to monitor for practices, development, tryouts etc. Please consult the site on a regular basis so you can plan your players times for attending. The first on ice session is today, Sunday the 7th of September at 11:30 am and will be the first of 3 skills development sessions focused on “Skating”. Time is 11:30 am. If your player cannot attend please advise by email.

The other critical element for the season start is the requirement by the OMHA that at least one parent complete the online course entitled “Respect in Sport” the link to the course is here: https://omhahockeyparent.respectgroupinc.com/secure/ . There is a charge for the course that requires the fee be paid by credit card. If you do not have a card please let me know so we can figure out a way to have the course completed.
Without this course your player will not be able to play so getting it done sooner is a great thing. Please advise if you have any challenges completing the course.
