Pee Wee Rep Girls Win Both Weekend Games
The Godfather's Pizza Pee Wee Rep Girls won 'back to back' games this past weekend defeating Grey Highlands and Wingham-Lucknow. The wins keep Walkerton in 3rd place with 19 points in the WOAA Rep 'C' Division.
Megan Bell, Kailyn Hagan and Emma Fortney each scored in a 3-2 win in Meaford against Grey Highlands. A day later Walkerton dominated Wingham-Lucknow in a convincing 4-1 win. Emily Mason scored twice, Chloe Zettler and Emma Fortney also scored in the win.
Alyssa Turnbull was solid between the pipes making several point blank saves in both games.
The girls finish their regular season Tuesday, January 27 in Keady versus TCDMHA and will compete in the Silver Stick Tournament in Saugeen Shores on February 6 and 7.
