WOAA Gregg Division Game 1
On March 18th the McIntee Atom Rep team faced the Hanover Falcons in game 1 of best of 5 series with Walkerton coming out on top with a 5 to 2 victory. This was the teams 6th playoff win in a row and 7th overall!
Ryan Fotheringham played very well in net and made some big saves early in the second period to keep the score tied at one. Our defence had to be on their toes as the Hanover squad has some very quick forwards. Scoring the goals for Walkerton were Adam Girdler (2), Aiden Hinsperger (2) and Riley Keip.
The highlight of the night though was the birthday cupcakes after the game as they boys dove right into them, the cupcakes did not have a chance!!!
