2 More Playoff Wins!!!
The Walkerton Collision Atom LL 1 team has earned two more vicotires in the playoffs win wins over West Grey 1 and Drayton to bring our winning streak to 4 games, the best streak all season!!!

On Tuesday night we played host to West Grey which turned out to be a very close games as our goalie Ryan Fotheringham and the West Grey goalie played excellent games both making awesome saves.  West Grey opened the scoring midway through the first and held the lead going into the 3rd period.  After a quick pep talk from the coaching staff to start the third where the team was told to shoot more.  The result lots of shots on net and two goals from Craig Reaman.  Assists on the goals were from Jackson Wells (2), Tyler Crummer and Lucas Fortney.  Overall a great game to watch!!

On Wednesday night we had our longest road trip of the season to Drayton (We were very fortunate to get a very good schedule in terms of traveling this year, thank you WOAA).  We started out very slow in Drayton as our kids seemed to be more interested in just skating around and after one period we were down 2 to 1, the only goal in the first was off the stick of Cameron Klein.  After a quick pep talk to start the second period the team came out flying and scored two goals to more ahead for good.  The line of Clint Holliday, Craig Reaman and Jackson Wells scored the two goals, the 1st was Craig from Jackson and CLint and the second goal was by Jackson from Craig and Clint, both goals were very nice passing plays!! Early in the third Craig added his second goal of the game on the power play assisted by Cameron and Alex Kunkel.  Jackson got his second goal later in the third period from Tate Elphick and Craig Reaman to make it a 5 to 2 final.  After the game the team was very excited to leave with the win as this was our third game against Drayton and first win against them so they were very happy!!

Players not getting points in either game but still making a contribution to the wins were Tyson Hinds and Emily Holliday.

Overall in the playoffs we are now at 5 wins and 2 losses with one game left against Hanover on Sunday.
