Tough Loss
On Tuesday Night the Drayton Defenders travelled to Walkerton thorugh some bad weather for an 8pm match up (almost bedtime for the kids, lol) for our 3rd game of the round robin playoffs.
Both teams played very well with Walkerton out playing Drayton at times but Drayton had some great goaltending. Drayton opened the score midway through the 2nd period and it remained that way until half way through the 3rd when Craig Reaman scored the tying goal. Unfortunately with 27 second left Drayton scored what turned out to be the winning goal, however we tried very hard to tie the game and had a great chance to tie it. We travel to Drayton next Wednesday for a re-match, which I am sure will be another great game.
Starting Saturday we will have 4 games in 5 days which is alot but I know that the kids are up for it!!!
