Walkerton vs. Mildmay - Win One - Lose One!
The final games in WOAA round robin included a home and away series with the Mildmay Monarchs.  Everyone knows a matchup between Walkerton and Mildmay will provide good hockey and great competition.  This series did not disappoint, but fans will have to wait until next season to determine a champion between these two teams!

The Walkerton Legion Peewees hosted the first game and added 2 points to their WOAA playoffs with a 4-2 win.  The score was tied at 2 after the second period on goals by Scott Eddyvean and Evan Visser.  Visser netted the go ahead goal early in the third period and Drew Cobean added the insurance marker seconds later.  Assists were credited to Dakota Weiler, Ryan Girdler, Noah Leslie, Hunter Zettler, Visser and Eddyvean.
Game 2 in Mildmay was end to end action again and a scoreless game after the first period.  Goals were exchanged in the second period to make it a 2-2 game but Mildmay potted 2 quick goals to close out the second period.  Walkerton was unable to beat the Mildmay goaltender in the third and an empty net attempt by Walkerton made the final score 5-2.  Dakota Weiler scored Walkerton's goals assisted by Evan Visser.  Tristan Zettel picked up an assist on Weiler's first goal.

It's been a great season for the Legion Peewees and a big thanks to Coach Joe Zettler, Assistant Coach Jim Al and Trainer Andy Girdler.  Until next season.............
