Cuneo's Face Undefeated Hanover Falcon's #2
I interviewed two of the Cuneo Atom's defensemen after the game on Sunday Feb. 12, Ben Fleischauer and Keegan Quish.  This is what the boys had to say about the game.

Well Boy's you faced the Hanover Falcon's #2 today in the first game in a home and home series in our Round Robin in our Play-offs, how did it go?  Not bad in our oppinion.  We fought back to tie it up a couple of times but they ended up winning the game 6-4.

Your opponent's have had a great season, they have been undefeated in WOAA play, how did you manage to keep it to such a close game?  We covered their players and we made moves on them. We stayed strong and made some good plays when we had too, but we just got beat.

Can you tell me who scored and assisted the goals? Colton assisted by Keegan, Bryce scored assisted by Ben then Darren scored a high bouncer from the point assisted by Jackson and Curtis had a nice one with a helper by Tyson.

You have a good group of kids on this team can you tell me a bit about them?

Our Defense men: Keegan #8- helps by rushing the puck.
Ben # 4-  covers while his partner is rushing the puck, has his buddy's back.
Jackson#9 -  Does a good job by keeping the puck in the zone.
Darren # 16 - Has a good hard shot on the net.
Our Forwards:  Isaac #5 -  always tries his hardest and gives it his all.
Bryce #2 -  Great at setting up goals.
Colton #6 -  Fast and The Furious, covers a lot of the ice.
Dom # 14 - Good at clearing the puck out a lot.
Curtis #3 - good passer and not afraid to go after the puck.
Owen #10 - Fast skater and good shot.
                     Christopher #7 - he's the Playmaker.
Tyson # 11 - can be counted on to help out the defense when needed even now that he is a forward.

Our Goalie: Matt #1 - He works as hard as he can to stop the puck and makes some great saves.

What about the coaching staff?  We would like to thank Aaron for making sure everyone has fun
and teaching us how to play.  Darryl and Jason they help when someone gets hurt.  Brian helps us make good plays.

There were a lot of fans there to watch you guys, what would you like to say to them for coming out and cheering you on?  Thanks for coming out and we hoped you enjoyed the game because we played hard for you and we tried to make it even and fun.  We think we played as hard as we could and played an excellent game.  We hope you come out again to our next game on Wed. Feb. 22 at 6:00.

Thanks Ben and Keegan for sitting down with me and telling me about your game.  Your entire team played a great game and good luck in the rest of the play-offs.
