Pee Wee Rep Girls Suffer Their First Loss but Rebound with Two Great Wins
The Pee Wee Rep Lower Lakes Girls made a long trip to Windsor Saturday and started off their game with a quick goal by McKague to put them in the lead.  The assist was awarded to Young.  They were able to hold their lead for the remainder of the first and most of the second but Windsor fought hard and managed to tie it up and take the lead with two goals at the end of the second. The third remained scoreless and in a last attempt to tie it up, Walkerton pulled their goalie but Windsor was able to net one in with ten seconds left on the board to take the game.

The girls headed home to prepare for two games Sunday against Tillsonburg.  In Sundays first game, the scoreboard remained at zero for the first period but Walkerton Girls came alive in the second scoring three goals and then a fourth in the third to take the game 4 - 0.  Goals were awarded to Konecny (2), VanLoon, and Thompson.  Assists went to Walsh(3), Crowe(2), Thompson, and Hickling.

After resting for a couple hours, the Walkerton Pee Wee Rep Girls headed back on the ice for a second meeting with the Tillsonburg team.  Walkerton came out fighting, scoring three goals in the first period.  Tillsonburg fought back but were unsuccessful as Walkerton went on to score one final goal in the second period.  This brought the score to 4 - 0 and the scoreboard stayed this way for the remainder of the game.  Goals were awarded to VanLoon(2), Borho, and Crowe.  Assistes went to Thompson, Hickling(2), Holyome, McKague, Walsh, Fotheringham, and Meyer.

Great job Girls!  A long weekend for sure!
