RKS Bantam LL Girls Tame Rams 5-0

On Sun. Oct. 30, the Bantam Local League girls played three solid periods of hockey in a 5-0 win over the Mount Forest Rams.
Kerrigan Huber scored the team's first goal midway through the first period, assisted by Lilly Starling. Starling then scored two goals of her own in the second frame. Michelle Bester assisted on the first goal, while Carolyn Gray and Allie Smillie assisted her second. Emily Cormack opened the scoring in the third period. Gray and Smillie earned the assists on the fourth goal of the game. Allie Smillie scored the final goal on a nicely placed tip off a shot by Bester. Selena Wand got the assist on this goal.
The girls now go on the road for a few games. Their next home game is Nov. 14 against the Rams again.
